All team hugs to be found at picasaweb :-)

QUITE A DIFFICULT TASK ... HATS OFF!

We sincerely take our hats off, for all these boys who gave their utmost to finalize as quick and as good as possible the electrical installation! A large part is done, but programming awaits you tomorrow!

AT 17.30 the bell rang... and now the experts are evaluating!

Chief Expert Adrian Sommer kept a close eye on the time!

EXPERTS SHIFTED A HALF HOUR TIME!

The experts team shifted with some time so that the bell rang at 17.30 instead of 17.00. It will give the candidates some air on day 2! But doing this surely will increase the stress on day 3 !!!

DAY 2: TWO HOURS LEFT BEFORE....

the electrical installations should be finished by 17pm! They will be evaluated this evening and tomorrow morning after safety measurements, the programming part can start!
Good luck to all the candidates!

DAY 2 of the competition

Day two has started! After a good night sleep all candidates are ready again to concentrate on their well filled program...
Yesterday, AIE General Secretary Evelyne Schellekens explained to all the experts the importance of good networking and communication between AIE members, the AIE secretariat and the Euroskills experts and to use the AIE as a discussion platform for members' and experts' needs and demands.
We have a great expert team again this year with their heart and expertise fully focused on their candidate!

Blogging for the sector within Euroskills framework

The European Association of Electrical contractors [or AIE in short] together with WorldSkills Europe came to the decision to work together and integrate the former European Competition of Young Electricians into a single trade 'Electrical Installations'. As a Worldskills associate member and partner in profession for ES2014 we try to stimulate the networking between members, experts and stakeholders of the installation sector. We therefore motivate everyone to promote and publish both this blog and the facebook page to show what highly skilled electricians of today can manage and future apprentices can reach for!
